Shadow Storage Lake Roosevelt rents indoor enclosed boat storage units in two sizes, 12x30 and 12x40, for $300–$500 a month. The units are fully enclosed but not climate-controlled, and they're at our lot in Davenport, WA, near the Fort Spokane boat launch on Lake Roosevelt, not in Spokane.
If you live in Spokane, you can still use them. Our All-Inclusive Winter Package picks the boat up from you and brings it back in spring, and the package can use an indoor unit. Pickup is available up to about 2 hours from our facility.

Our indoor units are not heated and not climate-controlled. Inside, the temperature follows the weather outside, so in an eastern Washington winter it will get below freezing.
What indoor storage does do:
What it doesn't do is stop water in the engine from freezing. Winterize the boat before it goes in, just as you would for outdoor or covered storage. Our partner, Spokane Boat Repair, is a mobile marine mechanic that can winterize it for $420 plus tax per engine.

Covered storage costs less and keeps weather off the top of the boat. Indoor adds walls and a door. Pick indoor if you want the boat out of sight and out of blowing snow, and covered if a roof is enough.
Some websites have described us as a Spokane storage facility. We're not. We're at 44300 State Route 25 N, Davenport, WA 99122, near the Fort Spokane boat launch on Lake Roosevelt, about 40 minutes from Spokane.
That's a benefit if you boat on Lake Roosevelt, because the boat is stored minutes from the launch. If you boat on lakes closer to Spokane, a lot in town may suit you better, unless you'd rather use our pickup and delivery and not tow at all.
